Diya Aur Baati Hum 18th May 2012 Written Update

Suraj gets up and goes to Sandhya. He says since Sandhya has made a mistake, she has to ask forgiveness from Bhabho. Sandhya says she did not tell any lies, she did not speak to Chavvi’s in-laws and whatever she spoke about Chavvi’s education was only between Rathi family. Suraj does not agree with it. He accuses of Sandhya spoiling his sister’s life by postponing the marriage to one year later. Sandhya says she has no intention to spoil Chavvi’s life and Suraj accuses her that she is jealous of Chavvi that she is going to marry an educated groom and also their family is good whereas even after getting 3rd rank in the whole state, Sandhya got married to a halwaii, etc. Sandhya is in shock and says not to blame her and that she could not tolerate it. Suraj asks her then why is she tolerating all these torture, why does not she go away from all this, nobody is stopping her and why is she still there. Sandhya says she is there because he stopped her to stay, she is there since she took the saat phere with him. Bhabhasa cries out he cannot bear all this and he is going to tell the reason. Suraj turns to Bhabhasa and stares at him. Bhabhasa stops. Suraj tells he cannot trouble his family members and whatever it is, they will speak in their room and takes Sandy to their room. Meena is also going behind them and Suraj stops and stares at her and she comes back to the hall.
SurYa in their room. Suraj takes out the divorce paper and gives it to Sandhya and tells her to speak all those words she spoke about marriage and states she does not really mean them. Sandhya is tearful and Suraj does not wait for her answer. Sandhya says she has no intention of breaking this marriage and he tells her he believes his eyes and the divorce paper is the proof. He is hurt too and turns away from her and says she is a liar, cunning, etc. Sandhya is very hurt by his words and asks him whether he considers her to be a liar, cunning and all. He does not turn but answers that he believes she is a liar and cunning. He takes the paper from her and says he will grant her wish and sign the divorce form. Sandhya stops him from signing and says the papers do not have any value and no need to sign it when trust which is the basis of any relationship has been broken between them and she will go away by herself. She was in belief that they both would set right everything and now understood that it is not. Suraj is shattered by this but he does not give up his SV2 behavior. He tells by saying this, she is trying to be superior than him and she is egoistic and he won’t allow it, he himself will throw her out.

kya zindagi hai ye kya paheli,
bikhre hai sapne main rehgai akeli,
natumho mere, na mai tumhari,
tumse juda har manzil hamari
ab na rahegi, diye sang ye baati,
tanha chalegi din raat ye baati
Na hoga ye milan, na banenge kabhi saathi, ye diya aur baati
Suraj is packing all her things, sarees, books, jewel boxes. He tells her he will inform Ankur and he will leave her at Preeti’s house in Jaipur else Sandhya would again complain against them in the police station. Sandhya is shocked to hear Ankur’s name.
In the hall, all are sitting and Bhabhasa and Bhabho are restless. Bhabhasa scolds Bhabho for blaming Sandhya. Bhabho is angry that Sandhya spoke to Chavvi’s in-laws about education without the knowledge of even Suraj. Bhabhasa asks her whether she heard it and Bhabho is angry again like she is the one who is wrong always and is worried what is Suraj doing upstairs.
Suraj takes the baggage and comes out. Sandhya follows him and stops him in the balcony. She tells him she will leave the house permanently but not to involve Ankur in this. Suraj mocks her that lying and hiding things is their family trait and his mother has not taught him that.
Precap: Sandhya is telling Ankur in the phone that she is leaving the Rathi’s house. Bhabho drops the plate and glass she was holding. She asks forgiveness from Bhabho. Chotu is compelling Bhabhasa to stop Suraj as Suraj would listen to him.
